AARHUS, Denmark, May 24, 2023 — LMS365, a leading learning management solution, is teaming up with Microsoft Teams to develop an AI-powered application focused on changing the way people experience learning in the flow of their daily work.

The solution is aimed at demonstrating how future learning platforms can operate with the enhancement of AI tools. It will provide an example of a smooth and user-friendly LMS365 workflow in Teams using a natural language processing (NLP) model from OpenAI.

Using the Teams AI SDK, LMS365 built two scenarios to demonstrate the value of using generative AI inside of LMS365 and Teams:

  • AI assists the learner in finding relevant training
  • AI helps the learner in creating a course and a quiz based on a video or a file upload.

Leveraging AI to enhance learner experiences

Using AI, LMS365 and Microsoft Teams aim to make learning more accessible, flexible, and personalized. The developed solution offers users the ability to express ideas in natural language, enabling them to find and learn something new, which can help them improve their existing skills without struggling through strict commands. This fluid communication between the user and the application will result in faster and better learning experiences.

Supporting L&D with AI-powered learning tools

The solution can also create a course based on a video or file, which will significantly reduce repetitive tasks and text-based work for L&D specialists. Additionally, this solution supports democratized learning styles as it empowers any subject matter expert to easily create relevant training in their daily flow of work.

Bringing AI capabilities into the LMS365 app natively in Teams allows users—without prior knowledge of the solution—to effortlessly communicate, find, build, and share knowledge across the organization. This means barriers to content creation and engagement are broken down and more opportunities for valuable learning are created.

We are excited to be working with Microsoft Teams on this project. I believe that together with AI, LMS365 and collaborative software solutions like Microsoft Teams, can usher in a new era of learning and empowerment in the digital age

said Freddy Bang, Chief Technology Officer at LMS365.

LMS365 to be featured as Generative AI early adopter at Microsoft Build 2023

LMS365 challenged their engineering team to build these AI capabilities and work on several scenarios that were successfully demonstrated to Microsoft Teams engineers. This allowed the LMS365 engineering team to create concrete examples of AI capabilities in their test labs.

LMS365’s innovative work with Teams SDK has afforded it the opportunity to be recognized as an early adopter of Generative AI technologies at the Microsoft Build event on May 23, 2023, an annual conference event held by Microsoft, aimed to support and inspire software engineers.

LMS365 looks forward to utilizing AI in transforming learning management and training experiences. The team is excited to continue the close collaboration with Microsoft and explore the potential of AI-powered chat capabilities to bring value to customers interested in leveraging such modern technologies.
